Excavations at Villamagna 2006—2010 (the web publication)
E. Fentress, C. Goodson, M. Maiuro eds.

The Villamagna website is designed to present the stratigraphy of the excavation and the various catalogues – of pottery, of finds, of masonry- that have been created. With the exception of the stratigraphy, the catalogues are submitted in the form of word files and spreadsheets, and will be displayed on the web as illustrated databases, in an improved version of the current display of the object database in ARK. Viewers/readers will be able to search across the objects and limit their searches by Area, or by chronology or by object type or material, for example. The discussions of stratigraphy will be linked to the ARK database by clickable SU and SSU numbers, and it will thus be necessary for the authors of the strat reports to clean up the individual records as far as possible.
The Home Page of the site will consist of a brief introduction, and a menu allowing the user to select the category he wishes to consult (the numbered categories below). Each of these will open a page with another range of choices (the lettered categories below).
