The Site
The Villa Magna Project explores the occupation of this site from the Roman period through the late middle ages. Through excavation, survey and remote sensing techniques, we are seeking to understand the nature of the villa, its use and reuse in later periods, and the role of the ecclesiastical community in the development of this area.
